An early artillery castle built by the Sinclairs on a bluff above the Fife coast, now hemmed in by modern housing but still commanding once you're through the park gates. The towers are closed off and reviewers are candid that there's little to see inside, but the clifftop position and the beach walk around it carry the visit regardless.

Don't expect to get inside the towers; treat it as a coastal walk through Ravenscraig Park with a ruin as the centrepiece, not a building tour.
Several reviewers note that Ravenscraig Castle's tower and interior are difficult to access — closed on multiple visits, with one describing it as "very abandoned and closed" — which is the clearest recurring caveat. Despite that, most still rate it highly for its dramatic clifftop location above the beach, the surrounding park with playground, and the views, which reviewers say make the visit worthwhile even without getting inside.
